About One Minute Invoice
One Minute Invoice exists for the evening you finish a job and need to bill for it before you forget. Fill in a form, watch the PDF take shape, download it, done. There is no account to create, no watermark to remove and no upload, because the whole tool runs in your browser and your documents stay on your device.
Who it is for
Freelancers billing a client at the end of a project. Tradespeople who quote on site and invoice after the work. Landlords and small sellers who are asked for a proper receipt. Small businesses in Canada, the UK, Australia and elsewhere that need the right tax labels without learning an accounting package. Office staff raising a purchase order. Anyone who bills the same client every month and wants the next number, not a blank form.
What these people have in common is that invoicing is not their job; it is the ten minutes after their job. The editor is built for that: your business details and clients are remembered, numbers increment on their own, the country preset loads the tax lines, and the PDF looks like it came from real accounting software.
Why it exists
Many free invoice generators charge you in other ways: an account before you can download, a watermark until you pay, or an upgrade prompt on every page. Many also send your invoice, with your client’s name and your prices, to a server you know nothing about. One Minute Invoice takes the other route. The page is static, the PDF is built by a library running inside your browser, and the only place your documents are stored is your own device. The promise is in the name: a finished invoice in a minute, with nothing uploaded.
What it is not
It is not an accounting system. There is no ledger, no bank feed and no tax return. It does not create accounts, because an account would mean a server holding your data. It does not send email: the Email action opens your own mail program with the subject filled in and reminds you to attach the PDF. It does not take payments; you print your bank details or a payment link on the invoice and the client pays you directly. It does not give tax or legal advice, and the country presets are defaults to check against your tax authority, not a guarantee.
How it is funded
Display ads on the pages around the editor pay for the domain and the work. They never appear inside the editor or next to the Download button, they are absent from the privacy, terms and contact pages, and they load only after you have answered the consent message. That is the whole business model: there is no paid tier and no data to sell, because the site never sees any.
Contact
Bug reports, corrections to wording and template suggestions are welcome at hello@oneminuteinvoice.com; the contact page explains what to include so they can be acted on quickly. Questions about your own taxes are the one thing that cannot be answered there.
