One Minute Invoice

Terms of use

These terms cover your use of oneminuteinvoice.com, a free invoice and receipt generator that runs in your browser. They are written in plain language and are short, because the service has no accounts, holds none of your data and asks nothing of you beyond honest use. By using the site you agree to them; if you do not, please do not use it.

The service

One Minute Invoice lets you create invoices, receipts, estimates, purchase orders, credit notes, proforma invoices and delivery notes as PDF files. The editor, the PDF engine and the storage all run in your browser; there is no account and no server that holds your documents. The service is free and is funded by display advertising.

No warranty

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise that it will be available at all times, free of errors, or suitable for your situation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service or from your reliance on a document created with it, including lost data, lost payments or penalties.

Nothing on this site is tax, legal or accounting advice. Country presets set labels, default rates and a checklist of fields that invoices in that country commonly show. They are defaults as of the date they were last updated, they may be out of date or wrong for your circumstances, and they do not make a document valid under any law. Presets are starting points — confirm current rates and requirements with your tax authority. If you are unsure what your invoices must contain, ask an accountant or your tax authority.

Your documents and your responsibility

You own the documents you create. You are responsible for their contents, including the accuracy of names, amounts, taxes and dates, for keeping the records your jurisdiction requires, and for how you use the files after downloading them.

Prohibited use

You must not use the service to create a document that misrepresents a transaction, that impersonates another business or person, or that is intended to deceive anyone, including an employer, an insurer, a tax authority, a landlord, a tenant or a customer. Receipts must record real payments that were actually made to you. You must not use the service to break any law, to infringe anyone’s rights, or to disrupt the site or interfere with other people’s use of it. We may block access from sources that abuse the service.

Your data and backups

Because the service runs entirely in your browser, your data lives on your device and nowhere else. Its availability depends on your device, your browser settings and your own backups. Clearing site data, using a private window, switching browsers or losing the device removes or hides your documents, and we have no copy to restore. Use Export data regularly to keep a JSON backup, and keep the PDFs you send.

Ads and third-party services

The site shows ads served by Google AdSense and may use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics as described in the privacy policy. Those services are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies, and your consent choices govern what they may collect. We do not control the content of advertisements, and their presence is not an endorsement.

Intellectual property

The site’s code, design, copy and illustrations belong to One Minute Invoice or their respective licensors, and open-source components are used under their licences, listed on the how-it-works page. You may not copy the site or present it as your own. Your documents, your logo and your data are yours.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms from time to time. The date at the bottom of this page shows the current version, and material changes are noted on the changelog. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the place where One Minute Invoice is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
